Youth in Horticulture Practical Training Programme – Expression of Interest
The Horticulture Business Platform (HBP) and Partners are inviting expressions of interest from young people who are engaged in, or seeking to build businesses and careers within, Ghana’s horticulture sector.

The programme will be a non-residential, three-day intensive practical training designed to strengthen participants’ business, entrepreneurial and technical capabilities, equipping them to build competitive and sustainable horticulture enterprises.

The training will focus on key areas including:

Business management and entrepreneurship
Business planning and enterprise development
Post-harvest handling and loss reduction
Produce quality and market requirements
Climate-resilient and sustainable horticultural practices
Practical approaches to improving productivity and market readiness

The programme is intended for young farmers, agripreneurs, employees of horticulture enterprises, recent graduates, and other young people actively interested in opportunities across the fruit and vegetable value chain.

At this stage, HBP is collecting expressions of interest to better understand potential participation and support the planning of the programme. Submission of an expression of interest does not constitute automatic selection or confirmation of participation.

Interested persons are encouraged to register their interest. Further information on the training dates, venue, selection process and participation arrangements will be communicated to shortlisted participants.
